Feeling over-worked, over-tired and under-paid? Need a cheap travel destination to get away from it all? Stop wondering and start packing! Being the workaholic that you are, youre probably expecting to have to do a ton of research, but its easy once you know a few insider tips.
Inexpensive travel plans abound, but these locations are even cheaper. And, believe it or not, they are just as attractive as other expensive locations. Costa Rica is the second smallest country in Central America. This makes it very easy to see most or all of the country in just under a few weeks.
No matter where you go there, you wont travel more than 10 hours by car. And, when you make it to San Jose, the capitol, you will be blown away by the efficiency of their bus system!
Other attractions are the mountain views, the breathtaking sunset over the the beach, and even the roaring rivers. Incredibly, you can visit and see amazing places in Costa Rica at no cost to you!
The Montverde cloud forest is another location you can visit for nearly nothing. You will be amazed at the low cost of lodging. Hostels run as little as $8 per night, and hotel rooms in San Jose are usually no more than $15 per night.
Margarita Island, Venezuela is another cheap travel destination and yes, the name of it is foreshadowing whats to come. A good Margarita sells for the same price of a soda. Or, you can buy a beer for roughly $1.
And, Margarita Island definitely is the spot if you are interested in night life. They have great discos which feature authentic Latin/Western music. A lot of local clubs feature live music that you can swing your hips to.
Hostels are modestly priced here as well. Theyre not as cheap as Costa Rica, but they generally go as low at $13 a night. And, you will be amazed at how cheap food is. You can buy a delicious seafood dinner for only about $7.
And, for those who crave sunshine, the sun is out 320 days out of the year in Margarita Island. Being so beautiful, its suggested you take in a little scuba diving, fishing, tanning, or riding horseback as daytime fun. And for those who enjoy buying local souvenirs, native markets are full of them!
Selecting such inexpensive travel destinations gives you the opportunity to enjoy an amazing vacation at a price you can afford. Its always great to be able to go away for a week or two and not have to worry about it burning a hole in your pocket. Enjoy your well-earned vacation!
