Where Are You Going On Your Surfing Holiday?

Everyone who loves surfing is usually quite impulsive and doesn’t do a lot of planing. Although a surfing holiday is one situation where you will want to make sure you get everything ready before you go. You might think this a bit boring but it is much worse when you get out to your surfing destination only to realise you forgot something vital.

You may not even be going on a complete holiday just a trip down to somewhere close for the weekend. Either way you will find there are some necessary things to pack. It goes without saying that if you forget your surfboard you’ve completely lost it. Footwear and additional Animal clothing or any other brand you like will really help. For ladies Roxy clothing creates some amazing designs for women whereas Billabong caters for male surfers.

Lots of surfers are a plan of camping and obviously means that you need to pack a few additional items to make the most of your holiday experience. This way you can literally camp out on the beach and wake up to the wave’s everyday. Essential include a tent and sleeping bag. You will normally be alright with a fairly basic sleeping bag in this type of destination as the temperature does not drop much at night. A pad for sleeping on can also be used to make your night more comfortable. Additionally some people who camp down at the beach choose to go for a hammock which can easily be put up between a couple of palm trees.

Other necessities to bring along are some snacks like nuts, tuna and bread which will keep your energy levels up until you arrive and find somewhere to eat. For hot locations you will want to take lots of waterproof sun cream to stop you getting sunburn and in cold conditions a wetsuit will allow you to stay in the water longer than normal.
